Sixteen years ago, after working six straight days in hospitality over Easter, I woke up unable to move. My left side was numb, my arms were riddled with excruciating pins and needles, and numb patches ran down my back.
Simple tasks became impossible — I couldn’t hold my toothbrush, turn on the shower, or even wash my hair. Driving was out of the question. With my family’s help, I made it to the doctor, then to A&E. After tests and referrals, I began my journey toward an MS diagnosis — a journey that, surprisingly, ended two years later with my discharge.
Today, my symptoms are minimal. I get tired when I overdo it, but don’t we all?
I’m Sophie McCulloch, and I understand the struggles, fears, and challenges of living with MS firsthand. That’s why I created this course — to share my lived experience and offer guidance, support, and reassurance.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your symptoms or diagnosis, know this: you’re not alone.
With over 15 years experience, I am dedicated to helping those with Multiple Sclerosis find empowerment and joy in their lives. My approach combines compassion, understanding, and proven strategies to inspire lasting change.
with love, Sophie x
